We had our first good wind in a month yesterday. The summer doldrums having been sucking the life out of me. I was prepped to go out by myself in WAY TOO MUCH wind when a friend happened by. I asked if he wanted to go out for a ride. He had never gone sailing before... After some mild convincing and implying some lack of cajones he relented and we got him all harnessed up and ready to go. Well, after a great afternoon on the water, screaming reaches, double trapped, etc. you know the drill, he commented what an amazing time that was and how it wasn't even on his 'bucket list'. Who knew? He now wants to learn so he can sail with his kids and has been looking for a 'hobby' and this is it!
