WOW ! I've just unpacked my AHPC carbon rudders and stocks. Man those stocks are rediculously light. I expected the carbon stock to weight very little but even with this much anticipation I was amazed.

I've also received a second package at about the same time containing my RedHead mainsail. Dark grey (silvery shine) Pentex squaretop with yellow batten pockets and leech reinforcements. The trampoline by the same sailmaker weighted less than a 1 liter carton of milk. It is tightly woven but still you can look through it and see the lee hull and the water underneath. Yet it feels very strong and tight when fully fitted. It is a bloody see through trampoline. With the mainsail this isn't a boat but a darn sexy looking fashion statement.

I'm very pleased with both items.

Now I really have to get that mast ready. My boat is already at the beach and ready to sail were it not for the mast.

I hope to present some on the beach pictures of it soon.

That's exactly what I thought. How can they be so light--they weigh as much as a paperclip.
