Thanks for the link but I need a Spot to meet the rules. We already own PLB's. I am sorry we are going to miss the event we finally got our new boat and the shipping company ran over the mast with a forklift and damaged the hulls.

I too need a Spot for the race, right now it looks like I'm forking over $100 for the unit+$100 for the yearly subscription and there are no rental companies (PLBrentals hooked me up with a great deal on EPIRB's for the weekend), so if someone has 2 give me a shout after David.

The subscription fee is 100.00 + 50.00 for the tracking + 150.00 for the unit - a 50.00 rebate. The subscription is a auto renewal which there are a lot of complaints.

Oops, I thought PLBrentals rented spots too.. we were going to rent a spot from somewhere for $25 until Craig offered them for rent for Tybee... why don't you contact him? I can't find the site we were going to rent it from.

And I told Mike we could have an infusion in Hyannis for you to sail and he used the work excuse!
