Just got a call from Hans Geisler the designer/President of the G Cat line of racing cats. He will be here in his hot new souped up G Cat singlehander complete with hooter. Says its really fast and he plans on regaining the overall winner trophy he last won on a G Cat 21 in 1982 ! Welcome back Hans !!!

Yikes your exactly right ! Its the 24th annual Round The Island Race in Fort Walton Beach FL sailing around a 50 mile long barrier island. 50 miles in the Gulf of Mexioo followed by 50 miles in the Intracoatal Waterway. usually a SW seabreeze making it a fun ride home.....reaching to downwind.
