Quoted for truth. I just sold my BMW 328 convertible because my female could not stand the top being down.

I would go for an S2000 if I had the coin, I do not consider them too girly.

It's a convertible, definitely a manly machine, it will light the tires at 50 mph, the speedo reads 160 'cause 120 ain't enough, I have pulled my boat with it, and if Miss High Maintenance doesn't want her hair messed up, then up with the power top and on with the AC. She's 42 years old and simply bitchin'

So far, Philip is closest (OK, maybe the Cobra guys too).

The rest of you... No, no, no...

She just turned 18, and is still a blast to drive.

For the first few years, I never put the tops in.

Currently, I can't remember the last time they came off.

Are you saying my CJ-7 is not a good mans convertible?

Nice Z Mike. I had a 76' that I will forever regret selling.
I keep wanting to get a 93-98 Supra. G.D. things keep going up in price though, and getting even tougher to find with lower miles, or modded.

The problem with the Elise or the Exige is you have to be a flippin' midget to fit in the things. Other than that they're a frickin go-kart in all the good ways.

I'm boatless.

Nope, that'd be a roadster. No top = no covertible.

But I'd take one for a violent/angry/perhaps traumatizing spin.

Good point, I was really thinking of stock Jeeps. Modded rock crawlers are a different animal...

BTW, did any of you see the Vietnam-era Army truck on Hardcore Pawn last night? Now, that was a man's convertible...

I would definitely agree that a CJ-7 would qualify...but be careful, you're probably going to end up with me over here in pansy land with this crowd.

did you see that "Top Gear" (american version) that tested the CJ-7 against the Bronco and Chevy Blazer in an offroad race to Vegas?

Hilarious. Blazer won only because CJ-7 ran out of gas

Jake I see your GRG license plate on the Audi for write-off purposes Im sure. I like the Audi, Im actually looking for a TDI wagon, Jetta or preferably a Passat, my wife thinks I need a big truck, but I am comfortable in my manhood and dont need a big truck or convertible to compensate for ANYTHING!

Dave, I'm a VW fan - that Passat wagon is the tits. Drop in the RNS-510 navigation package with BT for streaming content from your smartphone. Killer mileage, incredible comfort, and the thing still has balls.
