What's with the proliferation of badly written spam on our bulletin board? The Hobie Forum has been terrorized with this crap to the point of being useless. Is a solution in the works?

Yes, within just a few years, china will own the USA, we will change our national language and it will all be much easier to read

Please let me know when this happens, OK? I don't often check all the Forums, but just did look at the H16 and WOW!

I have notified Rick a number of times about the level of spam in the H16 forum via the post notification system. Note that the main forum is also being hit. Allowing un-approved users to post just makes reading the forums a pain. I use a moderation system. First two posts are reviewed before they appear on the Hobie forums. I also look at new registrations and delete the obvious ones.

Must be a sign of a better World economy or maybe just Christmas coming.

Our forums are getting hit hard and it has accelerated over the past few months. Spammers from China are to worst, but I get them from all over northern Europe, India, France, South America. They are a pain to filter out. I have been deleting about 100 new user registrations (spammers) a day right now.
