The finalized Notice of Race for the A-Class North Americans with the schedule of events and entry fees has been posted on the USACA website at
http://www.usaca.info/. The regatta will take place at Pontchartrain Yacht Club in Mandeville, LA November 11-14.
We're expecting a turnout of at least 30 boats for this event, maybe more. This event will also mark the debut of the new Pete Melvin, made in the USA, A2 design. There will be a pizza party on the first night of the event with an introduction to the new boat and a presentation on the boat's design.
Some of the championship calibre sailors attending this event will include Melvin, Ben Hall, Pease and Jay Glaser, Charlie Ogeltree, and Johnny Lovell. We hope this will be the best North Americans in the US history of the class.
