Iirc, he's 17, a high school senior with little cat experience but very eager to learn. He has sailed other types, particularly one of the tris. Hopefully we'll see him at Tradewinds.
Joe, there are all types on this board, some of them are the "throw him in the deep end" type. But there isn't anyone here that won't try and help you if you need it.
