In direct response to the question "What do multihull sailors want?" I'd like a closer look at the budget. Just how much is being spent on multihulls?

The timeline for announcements has been pushed out to April 1. We got a bit more than we could chew in two weeks after the committee was officialized.

We updated the official website last week (removed reference to Mar 15), to align with the Alter Cup committee's work.

More exciting (unrelated) news to come.

Why do the survey results have to be released with the announcement of the 2012 event? Why not release the results now? Help me understand why the two are linked.

This was the process that was agreed between MHC, MCC and US Sailing. We're all working together to get this event back onto solid ground.

The pressure of this timeline is actually ridulous (even with a 2-week push), considering that we had no events planned, no committee chair, a severely reduced budget, and an explosion in charter fees.
