The 1699 is a city festival commerating when some Frenchman landed in Ocean Springs with some crazy clothes and a rediculous accent. We have a regatta and make every effort to make it a show for the crowds on the beaches. Its great PR for sailing and generally a great time. We'll run 2 courses High DPN, Low DPN so there is minimal delays in getting races in. Go online and register for this weekend's races. The weather looks fantastic! See you there.
