I am wondering about upcoming F18 regattas going on mainly in the south/southeast, but also nationwide leading up to the worlds. If you could please post of regattas you know of coming up, I would really appreciate it.

Matt,

Come sail with us in New England! You should especially try to get to the Eastern Area Champs at the Hyannis Regatta July 27-29. We had 24 boats last year, and I expect that or more again this year. Full eastern area schedule here: http://www.naf18.com/joomla/index.p...w=categoryevents&id=4&Itemid=109

KPRR May 26&27 should have 8 - 10 F18's
Daytona Summer Sizzler June 23&24 but it's usually just Dave Dunn and me.

You have so many F18's at the SSS you could have an F18 regatta every month. You guys are now the center of the F18 universe in FL.

Do it!!' I think we will hit 30 boats this year.... Jc and Ravi are double stacking and John Bauldry, Dan Borg, and the Reids are also talking about coming... That combined with the fact that we have 3 new fleet members this year, if you guys and Robbie come and the same boats as last year, we could even hit mid 30s!!
The coolest thing about this regatta is usually Saturday after racing the youth 420, laser, and Opti sailors (which there are usually about 300) line up on the beach and part of our fleet takes them for short rides around the harbor. Really is the highlight of many of their seasons!
