First Regatta of the season for the Narragansset Beer Eastern Area F18 Summer series was this past weekend 5/19-5/20. The Wickford Yacht Club in RI hosted the Wickford High Performance Regatta with F18s, A Cats, 505's, Viper 640s, I420s, and C420s. 15 F18s won the award for the biggest class with the Viper 640 next with 12. Two race circles made the multi classes a non-issue. Wickford YC provided dinner Saturday night with a live band.
F18 results can be found Here
Mike Easton sailing with pickup crew Parker Shin won while normal crew Tripp Burd watched from a 40' charter boat with 15 guys (can you say sausage fest?) onboard for a bachelor party.
Bob Merrick was close behind in second with Anthony Boueihl in third. Chris Titcomb sailing with Mike Easton's girlfriend Lindsay Smith managed to win race 5 (despite being scored 2nd), Mike surely isn't going to live this one down.
Thanks to the Wickford YC, Skip Whyte (Regatta Chair and PRO), and Narragansett Beer!
Next Regatta of the series is June 2nd and 3rd, the Joe Manganello Memorial Regatta in Madison, CT.

Nice report Todd. Are they fixing the results?

BTW, we missed you guys at Madcatter, but it looks like you had much more cooperative wind. frown
