Might already be another post out there, but the schedule is getting ready to kick off this weekend in Little Rock, AR. 2nd stop will be in Pensacola, FL June 29 - July 1 where there promises to be an exciting F-16 fleet. Several local youth teams in the Pensacola - Panama City fleets have been shouting out to regional youth teams from the southeast, could easliy see 10 - 15 teams out there on F16's tearing it up. Robbie & the Red Gear Crew will be putting on a FREE youth camp June 29th prior to the event. I'm gonna have to find a way to wrap up work early and get down there myself.

Here's the link with the schedule of all events nationwide -

Reiss and Chu claim Junior Olympic win with ten first place finshes on a mean Pensacola Bay.

http://www.regattanetwork.com/clubmgmt/applet_regatta_results.php?regatta_id=5263&show_crew=1 ...Races 1 & 2 featured tight reaches for leg two of the T/W/L course with downwind gybing duels on leg three.

Joseph Bello and Tyler Holmes climbed the ladder against Taylor to break a Saturday night tie with Rice and Beaudry after six races. The NACRA hull design appeared quite at home in the force 4 to force 5 SW winds, outgoing tide, and deepwater waves.

Bello and Rice won the Sunday morning team race with a 'passback' against Reiss and Johnson near the finish. Once we returned to W/Ls Bello was pushing Reiss - really cool to watch.

The F 16s will be on the line again this coming weekend with some A cats and a few open dpn entries. The cats will be sharing a circle with the VX Ones (nine boats) is the last I heard...we'll see. FWYC's annual Meigs Regatta usually features at least three circles.

I wish the AYC Junior Sailing Festival a Great event. May your weekend be filled with fine sailing weather, pageantry, and much Alo'Ha.
