Racine is always one of CRAW's favorite events - a great beach, great club facilities and awesome sailing on Lake Michigan. Well this year it gets even better...
FIRST - our annual Lighthouse Regatta is being held over THREE days, Friday, August 10 to Sunday, August 12.
SECOND - the weekend before Lighthouse, August 4-5, is the annual RYC Al Henning Memorial Regatta and the first year there will be a multihull class.
THIRD - From Monday, August 6 - Wednesday, August 8, Robbie Daniels of Red Gear Racing will be running a three day clinic at Racine for up to six boats. The cost is $200/day (you can choose how many days you attend).
FOURTH - On Thursday, August 9, Robbie will be running a starting clinic, for a cost of $50. For those who participate in all three days of the Mon-Wed clinic, the starting clinic is free.
Count them people - that's a total of NINE potential days on the water at one of our premier sailing locations!
And regardless of whether you do the Robbie Daniels' clinic, you are welcome to leave your boat set up on the beach for the whole week so you can sail whenever you want or need to.
It promises to be a great week. We already have at least TEN of the midwest's finest A Class sailors planning to attend, so we're hoping for a great turnout overall! This is also a great opportunity for F18 sailors preparing for Worlds.
