Congratulations to Sarah Newberry and John Casey for winning the 2012 F16 Nationals on a Falcon and giving their new Olympic campaign a nice jump start. With several multi time Olympians and Olympic medalists, national champions in other classes and professional sailors, the field was deep and the racing at the top very close with 6 different teams getting bullets in 9 races and the final podium standings coming down to the last leg of the last race.
I cannot give enough thanks to St. Andrews Yacht Club and especially Chris Reiss and Catharina Whitehead for all their efforts and work. This was by far one of the most upscale and organized , yet welcoming and relaxed events that I have ever attended. Great time.
