All,

Please put on your thinking caps as to who you want as your next National Secretary, my suggestion is somebody who has the enthusiasm required to promote the class

After over 30 years with the association and mossies it is time for me to go and do/sail something else, something that may give me back some interest in sailing.

I have enjoyed my time but am lacking the required enthusiasm

I am selling both my boats, one already sold and the older one is still looking for a good home.

I will still be around now and again.

David

hi david
i did give peter a ring about 1658 i asked him if he could go to where the boat is and take some photos for me
eg sails , hulls , rudders , batterns , etc
would you know how to get this boat to the gold coast or would this not be possille
i asked my local sailing club about sailing a mosquito there and the repliy was that it would be better to buy a narca 430 or 16 square as the mosquito was to slow and in club racing the other cat classes would not want to weight for me to complete the course before starting a second race (back to bace races)
so saying that i would not like to revail the club in question
peter was saying that he has a slection of different sails
i would like to see that would be possible for the best price (sorry for asking this question )
i still think that the mosquito is the best racing class with so many helpfull people and maybe get out there on a reasble boat to show them that they could be wrong
my intention are to buy a boat like 1658 reuse the riging add a new set of hulls and contact peter for new sails for the future and maybe sail at the nationals 2014 when i have the boat complete
i was talking to drew you said that the cleveland club (brisbane) was good so i intend to sail with him and ask him for rigging tips

Hi Brett,

See other thread started so I do not hijack the secretary thread.
