T Hutch gets the boot. You'd think with all that he's done for Artemis there would be a management or advisory position for him.
Makes you wonder what else there is to the story.

He's one of the few Americans in the America's Cup game...well, was in the game.

Bummer. I don't follow the AC stuff too much. I look at pictures, feel like a failure in life, and go back to the salt mine.

I'm boatless.

He's got family (wife/kids) on the east coast, maybe it got to be too much of a commute to SFO?

He's been sailing the Extreme 40 series all over the world with Artemis...and I'm pretty sure the family moves with to where ever the home base (I saw a family special on the AC Cup families - his were in it talking about how they relocate).

His family traveled with him, part of the deal. They're from Annapolis. He's a very nice guy, not like you see him wound up on the boat.

Thats a real shame. Loved watching TH sail the 45s. Check out some of the old videos and ill think you'll see him a bit wound up. Seems that he never left his crew in doubt about what he was thinking. Loick and Nathan are both awesome but cant help but think this decision will do more harm to Artemis than good.

Would be great to hear the full story but i dont think thats going to happen.

Very interesting. Sounds like some personality clashing with all the big heads on the same team. Maybe T had a better offer elsewhere before they brought Loick on board?
