After some advice. When I look at the two brackets that mount my spreaders to the mast, they are both bowed; but more so on the stbd side where the little bracket attaches to the mast. My spreaders are slightly raked, and I don't know if I landed on it during a capsize or what, just glad I noticed them before they failed and I lost the mast. The brackets seem very thin anyway and the rivets are side loaded.
I noticed on some a class that their brackets are joined around the front of the mast which makes far more sense, I am happy to make up a template which includes a spinnaker ring, but does anyone know someone who will make up and weld a custom fitting? Am keen to get it done sooner rather than later do I can get back onto the water.
