I use to go to the Shark association's web sight and noticed that there were always regattas planned and what appeared to be a healthy racing community.

I have noticed that the web sight is down and has been for some time and I see no activity in regards to races at all.

Is the Shark all but dead now?

There was even a builder of new boats and several great looking pics of both new and old sharks.

Is there any activity at all in regards to racing?

If it is dead it is a shame to see this classic die...our loss

They're not dead yet. Sharks will be holding they're Nationals in conjunction with CRAM at Caseville Michigan this year, July 12-14th. NOR here.

Honestly, I don't know much about the class, but hear there is still a small but loyal following. I'm sure I'll learn more in July. smile

I am looking for any info available about the Shark Cats. I purchased one last year. The Hull Number is MFG A3618 V74L and the Sail is US 576. I wouldn't mind another one although mine seems to be in pretty decent shape except for the finish on the wood parts. I have always had and have power boats so this is totally new to me. Any Info or leads will be greatly appreciated. JZ
