This is my Reef Tank, in my Family Room:
[Linked Image]

This is my latest short 3 minute video of my 125 gallon Mixed Reef tank.
It has over 50 different species of coral (all tank grown form frags), 11 fish, many hermit crabs, snails, urchin, cleaner shrimp, etc.
I've had now for about 23 months since the beginning.
Hope you enjoy my Family Room Reef

Very nice, I wish I had the room for something like that.

Very Nice... your coraline algae has really taken off... How much calcium are you feeding it.

Thanks! Here in the Midwest - Midwest? This is NORTH!, we have basements.

I plumbed my sump down to my basement, there sits a 50G sump, with lots of other stuff for it.

Thank you, I realy enjoy it, it's in my Family Room, with no TV's, and a double reclining loveseat I face at about about 3 ft. away!

Thanks, I didn't dose anything for about the first 18months, them all the coral and coraline began depleting faster thatn my water changes (10-20%) would keep up.
So, I do dose some Ca+, MG, and a few other things to keep it happy.

Nice. Sounds like alot of work but there's not much that's more relaxing than gazing at an aquarium, so well worth it. Your video will have to do for me until I get some more space.

Thanks,
It's really not that much work.
I never seem to get bored watching my tank. It's 6 feet long, and there is so much in there, and so much going in there all the time. A vast ecosystem with life in the water, the rock, the coral, the substrate, the fish, the invertebrates, anenomes, etc.
