hello,

I sail for some time on a Nacra Inter 18 with my buddy Arjan13 (active in this forum).

As helmsman i have the following problem:

With enough pressure, I can come out to hang. the trapeze
On the starboard side, I can stand well before the rear beam. Legs straight on the sides of the hull.

However, on the port side I'm with a revoked right leg in the foot strap behind the rear beam and my left leg stretched forward.
(to catch bangs ?) I am strongly drawn forward and could hardly stand when i am not in this position
At the moment that the considerably high come out of the water with the float I can stretch both legs.

Does anyone have any idea how that happened and how I could fix / fix this

Marcos,

I'm not very clear on your situation but it sounds like you are saying that you can trapeze on the starboard side normally but you are getting knocked (banged) off the boat on the port side?

I'm guessing a lot of this has to do with the direction of the waves you are sailing in and that they are hitting the boat at a more difficult angle while on port? I adjust my trapeze system to keep me higher when sailing in waves but it still requires some technique to fly a hull to keep your feet from being knocked off the boat.
