hi all
I am in the process of receiving my new main sail
I have the form to check the measurements from the mosquito web site
the sail makers say that it will pass measurement but I think I need the official guy to sign off on it
it may just so happen that I go to a state or a nationals in VIC or SA I will require for this to be in place
it would be along way to go to find that I had something out of measurement
coming from QLD this could be disappointing
we have another 4 mosquitos soon to be on the water which brings our total to approx. 7 soon
this may be a easy process but as I live in QLD Gold Coast it may not be so easy
my mosquito was bought from VIC 1756 with cater hulls at approx. 67 kgs
just wondering if this boat was registed in any previse time

Hi Brett.
Good to hear that your new sail is just about finished. Post some pics' when you can. We would all like to see the new sail, especially from a different sail maker, rather than the usual brands.

Hi Brett,
Your sail would be measured at a nationals if you were to attend so it doesn't have to be measured before you get there. Your best bet would be to run a tape over it yourself to make sure it measures if you are concerned about it not measuring.

I am not sure if that boat has been measured before, I would presume it has but being a vic boat I am unsure about it.

Your best bet would be to run a tape over it yourself just to give you piece of mind.

With the increasing boat numbers in Qld it would be good to get the assoc. up and running gain then someone can take on the measuring job to make it easier for you all.

Cheers,
Peter

Just have to tease the rangger via the forum. Had to be careful this year though. The last person who missed sauna sail lost an eyebrow

Hi all, This is your President speaking:

haha, all going well in QLD, enjoying the nice sunshine in the marine business again, dong masts and rigging.
im really missing my sailing as my boat is still in melbourne and people raiding my sailing box at sauna sail. Im planning to build the fleet here in airlie beach.

Now Question..... If i join the sailing club here in qld. the mossies dont have a qld state titles as yet (due to numbers) can i still run for the vic state title trophy as im originally from somers? ......Please!!! i just want to know

I think Matt can come as a visitor, as long as he puts AY on the end of everything he says and talks even slower. There should be some sub rule about him being the give way vessel in every occasion as well.....

If you join up here ... have to belong up here....

State titles? numbers? .....almost there, could be round the corner very soon...
