It is not the Worrell 1000 but has a great spirit of ameteur sportsman. The range of floatable contraptions is half the fun.
It has Alan Stuart (ex Tybee sailor) winning overall. Randy Smyth's boat Sizzors dropping out due to structural problems. An old Marine "Leatherneck" goes non-stop for three days to set a new course record.
