www.CaterwaulRegatta.com is up and running and has all the information you need to make plans to join your friends at St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club for another great catamaran regatta, September 27 - 29, 2013 (a 2 day scoring option is also available). The NOR and full Schedule is posted, and you can register and pay online. Multiple classes, great parties, all from the club that loves to roll out the red carpet and amazing southern hospitality for cat sailors!

just received this reminder from St ABYC in Panama City...
Hello Sailors!

I am writing to encourage you all to come sail the Caterwaul (Sept 27 - 29), an open multihull regatta being hosted by St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club in Panama City. There is a 2 day scoring option for sailors who can't make it for all three days. We have a packed social calendar to go with first class racing. Thursday night's Welcome Party is an Italian dinner at our house, Friday is a reception and Karaoke (it was hysterical last year), and Saturday we are setting up the regatta banquet as a shrimp boil served over the water on tables strung along the club's dock (one of our best YC traditions). We'd love you all to join us! Registration and tons of information is online at www.caterwaulregatta.com. The entry fee goes up in price starting on Wednesday since we have to finalize t-shirt and food orders pronto. Don't delay -- SIGN UP NOW!
We hope you will join us for what is sure to be a great sailing event!

Thanks, Bert! If even half the sailors turn out who have told us they are going to come race with us, it is sure to be a great event. We need the pre-registration so we can finalize t-shirt and food orders. We think this time of year is the best time for sailing in Panama City (and that is saying a lot, since it is pretty much good all year round). We have a packed social calendar to compliment the fabulous racing, so join us and bring the whole family. Thursday night's Welcome Party is an Italian dinner at the Reiss house, Friday night is a reception and Karaoke (delightfully entertaining if judging by last year's performances...), and the regatta banquet on Saturday night will be a low country shrimp boil served over the water on tables strung along the club's dock. Easy registration and info is at www.caterwaulregatta.com.
