Anyone know of reasonable priced wheels or source for used sand wheels in good condition?

I am still in search of sand wheels for my 18' Hobie. I am in south Louisiana. If anyone has ideas for access to these, please drop me a note. Thanks, Ken Miller

These are pretty hot commodities and are commonly referred to by the brand name "cat trax" or beach dolly. Occasionally a set will show up by themselves on Ebay but it's rare and when it does, they usually go for $250+ . You can build them but you won't be able to match the quality or performance found with the Euro trax or the cat trax for the price (all-be-it a bit high).

As Jake has pointed out, folks that get them keep them. They may sell their boat and get another, but keep the beach wheels.
On this site we sell the three major beach wheels. They are:
Directory for all at
Beach Wheel Directory
Cat Trax at Cat Trax
Euro Trax at Euro Trax
Cateez at Cateez

Good luck,
Rick

I have just ordered new replacements for my CATTRAX. One wheel leaks air, the other is fine, I got tired of doing the inflation thing every day or two on the leaky one and just ordered a new pair. You might be able to seal the valve or just put in a can of fix-a flat, You are Welcome to them if you are replacing tires. Shipment costs will be yours.

We have 3 of those - one for each boat ( )-2 of them have cradles. But we spent at least $350 or even more for them here!
