Was it Craig that was putting together a run to Bimini?

I was casually speaking with another F24 owner and he's made the run several times. I think including the tris and beachcats might make a good fleet with similar DPN numbers. So you wouldn't need powerboats (or not as many) to watch over everyone.

If I recall correctly, however, the entry fee for Bimini is $150? More for boats over 30 feet.

Yes, I was talking about a Bahamas run but not to Bimini. I am going over to Lucaya Beach on Grand Bahama.

are the entry fees similar? I would think it's the same country, right?

Are you talking about port entry fees or race entry fees. I don't recall paying a port of entry fee last time I went.

I had flown in on private plane. Below are the fees:

Quote
Travelers should also be aware of entry fees in The Bahamas. Boats up to 35 feet long will be charged a $150(USD) entry fee, while boats over 35 feet will pay $300(USD). These fees include a cruising permit, fishing permit, and departure tax for up to four people with no overtime charges for Customs or Immigration. An additional departure tax is charged for more than four passengers. Once you have been cleared, lower the quarantine flag and raise your cruising pennant.
