This 2nd or 4th attempt to right the boat failed simply because of the mast being full of water !!! The camera was put aside and I went over the side to assist, even 2 of us hanging off the ropes it seemed to take ages to bring her up, what was worse is that she'd gone over right on a mark so other boats that were still racing were trying to get past as best as they could.
Credit where credit is due..... our skipper didn't head back to the beach battered n bruised.... she went onto the next race and ran well

although not visible in this pic, the port trap wire had broken away from the shock-cord. The trap wire had also hooked over the 3rd batten down from the top leaving our skipper with no choice but to DNF for this race.
