Hi All,
I am giving away the hulls from Mosquito 126. Free to a good home. The port hull is 29.8kg and the starboard hull is 29.2kg.
They have been completely stripped (still painted) - ready for your restoration project.
No beams, no chainplates, nothing. Just the timber hulls. They were probably built in the 1960's.
They seem to be in good condition to me. There is some damage around the chain plate locations where the water got into the wood. The bottoms have been rubbed flat on the sand over the years.
There don't seem to be any 'soft spots' from what I can tell.
The white patches near the bows in the photos are where I had a go with the heat gun. Paint didn't come off easily.
If you can pick them up they are yours.
Located in Geelong Victoria.
