hi all i just noticed lost my pin set up of my mast dont know how but can someone tell where can another one do ronstan have them or harken help please thanx

Hi swatter,

What sort of pin were you using? I have seen lots of things used for hinge pins, from rusty fence wire to screw drivers.

I use a 5mm SS 'R' Clip, but there are lots of variations on that - some people use a SS bolt or a piece of SS rod.

Whatever you use, it is a good idea if there is some mechanism to prevent the pin accidentally coming out while you are raising the mast.

yep thats it can you just by the mast peace that goes on foot of the mast ill check with goodall design

I doubt whether you would be able to buy a hinge like that these days. However it would be easy enough to make the mast piece. It is just 1.6mm stainless sheet with the sides bent down, and three holes to drill. The big hole for the mast pin is best done with a hole saw.
