Posts: 9 Melbourne, FL USA | The Space Coast fleet will ofcourse have Hagar's in February, Space Coast 45 likely in March, Kelly Park River Regatta (May?), and Hiram's towards end of the year. We are aiming to extend invites to more sailors and teams this year. We have 3 locations where the fleet has launched events over the years: Kelly Park, Merritt Island, MIA-POW Park/Pineda Cswy.,Melbourne, and although it has been some time since...Riverview Park, Historic Downtown Melbourne {the City of Melbourne now owns this 9 acre+ recreational park with 20' wide launch ramp into Indian River Lagoon and wants to see increase in non-motorized activity especially sailing. More updates to come during the year.

Posts: 9 Melbourne, FL USA | Hi Zach, That sounds great. What do you sail? Our fleet has those 3-4 main regattas or races and extendly loosely applied schedule beyond that. Many of us travel to race other local and major regattas.

More updates to come during the year. Mark, I do Small Boat Sundays (Lasers) out of Riverview Park and the launch area/beach needs some work. There has been significant erosion and rip rap has been put down to keep it in check. There is a small narrow beach access the lasers and sunfish use but it would be difficult to get beachcats in and out of the same area. Also the usable area in the park is pretty small so you don't want do something on the same day as the MYC small boat Sunday.
