My 2005 nacra F18 sails are just starting to show some wear
Looking at either new or excellent used set
Will a fully batten jig increase performance I am only a weekend recreational sailor

Yes a fully battened jib will increase your performance but since you're a recreational sailor you probably won't notice or even care. You'll also give up or ability to furl the jib and being able to furl the jib while you hang out with your friends on a sandbar is a nice plus.

http://www.psasailing.com.au/product-category/capricorn/sails-capricorn/ These will work on the Infusion no problem no adjustment needed. Almost half price for new sails.

When exactly did Nacra release the Infusion? 2005?
Edit:
From this thread ( here ) sounds like the first sales in the US were in 2006.
