So... Any interest in doing this on beach cats? (Just posted on SA)

This year there is a great new option for racing on the Chesapeake. Multihulls are invited to both Down the Bay and Southern Bay Race Week. This means for Memorial day weekend you can participate in the longest race on the bay, 120nm from Annapolis to Norfolk and then the next weekend participate in three fantastic days of racing in Norfolk. Docking over the week is even included in your SBRW registration.

2016 Southern Bay Race Week on Yacht Scoring - A complete web based regatta administration and yacht scoring program

Below is are the comments from the SBRW Organizers:

Consider this. For only $145, a racer gets:
- Entry into a great three days of racing and four nights of parties
- Daily awards plus overall awards on Sunday plus the Black Seal Cup to the Boat of the Regatta
- Free launch and retrieval at one of our three HYC hoists
- Free rafting for the regatta (BTW, this also goes for boats doing Down the Bay and spending the week between that and SBRW)
- Free trailer storage for the same period of time
- Free, secure storage of boats on trailers for April/May before the regatta
- The best Race Management anywhere
- Our special Southern Bay hospitality....to everyone

At SBRW 2016, we can offer our multihull racers:
- Fri, June 3 - Multiple windward/leeward races on your own course with your own Race Committee
- Sat, June 4 - Our unique, exciting Distance Race. We were the first Race Week to include a Distance Race and our format is now copied at
Race Weeks around the country.
- Sun, June 5 - A random leg, middle distance race in the Bay (2-3 hours...depending on wind)

Hopefully we can get lots of multihulls to join these awesome events and make them a success.
