The beachcat fleet already has figured it out, but lots of other sailors are becoming interested in multihulls. After chatting with a few, I've decided to put together a quick survey to see what real interest is out there for something like a J/70 or Melges 24 of multihulls. Not that we're all going to give up our F18s for something slower, but maybe a fleet like this would appeal to some here as well. The goal here is to garner some opinions to see if the time is right for an organized approach.

Take the poll, share it around, and let us know what you think! Thanks!

The new Farrier 22 would be perfect if it could be purchased here in the states. The waiting list is long, the development has been even longer, and it is Made only in New Zealand. Here the next best thing is the Corsair Sprint.

Farrier is a great New Zealand design multi-hull, no doubt, with pricing of starter kits for home building 22 footers starting at $35,990. The kits go up from there to around $61,590 needing only sails, shipping etc., added.; and speeds around 18 knots.

That's in the price range of the new American design and factory completed Stiletto starting at around $89,000 for a 30 footer, that also has an optional foiling design coming out in April or so 2016 with remarkable speeds and transportability.

I look forward to the results of the survey and poll.
