I just found out today that Mary passed away January 28th. She had suffered from COPD for some time died after a week in the hospital with family by her side.

Here daughter Stacy wrote a very touching and detailed account of her final days and made it public on Facebook. Since the post is public, if you have a Facebook account you can leave comments for the family.

What a great write up by her daughter. We are all better sailors and voices for catamarans as a result of Rick and Mary. Its the end of an era, but I am grateful to have been friends and enjoyed some time with them both.

The men were amazed, and said, "What kind of a man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?" Matthew 8:27

Mary, like Rick did so much for the sailing community. Rest in Peace.
