How do you get the centerboards out.

Hi -
You grab ahold of the line tied to the board ( which acts as the forward stop cushion )nd get the board so the line is straight up and down (the centerboard at this point is at it's halfway position) and pull straight up hard. There is a piece of pvc pipe that pops out of the centerboard well and there is a hole through the centerboard that this pipe goes thru.

Paul Jr.

Thanks Paul [Re: Paul_Nardone] #32525

Look down in the trunk where the pvc pipe sections slide. You might have some sand or pebbles down in there that are making it harder to pull the boards out of the trunks. They should snap in place so you may have to give the line attached a sudden jerk to pop them out.
