the goal as i understand it is to have the mainsheet 'block to block' when sheeted in to the max upwind in whatever the wind condition. if you have a 6:1 system and 2.25" blocks then you can achieve max rake, fast upwind where it counts most. if this is your goal then add whatever lengthening hardware necessary, i have a pigtail 3" long made of cable, thimbles, and swages that gets my rig block to block. the turbo settings are very different from the jibless classic tuning. the mast needs to be nearly vertical- less rake- to help the classic style boat tack.
