yhea racing starts in the AM. looks like some good wind, about 15-20 knots. Tami Shelton is saying for about 40+ boats. So far I would say about 30 are here. Will try to post results tommorow.

Sorry for the late post Doug,
It was a busy weekend. Great wind, The ride out the island was kinda bouncy, the chicken was great on the island though. The ride back was great. Though there was some carnage. Think a 6.0 bent a spin pole and ripped a spin.
The next day was even more wind. One of the chase boats was out of commision it was decided to stay in the channel. What a hell of a ride. Most of it was a screaming reach down the biloxi channel and back. Everyone I talked to loved it. Most boats were on the edge the entire time.

Unfortuantly i do not have all the final results. Maybe tami will post them soon.
Sorry you missed it. Hope the eye is better

By far the funnest S2S I've ever sailed, even though we didn't place (Hobie 16). Several of the H16 skippers showed up with lightweight crew, expecting the usual 8-10 knots, so when it turned out fairly nuclear (at least for this venue) we had to double up and leave of couple of boats and the kids on the beach.

Anyway, da kine Hobie 16 conditions!!! I'm still red, black, and blue and grinning from ear to ear! Film at 11:00, or whenever I get rested up. Thanks to Tami, Jay, "Boudreaux," and everyone else at the Coast Catamaran Club for another great S2S, and thanks, Jerome, for letting me ride on Rattle 'n' Hum all weekend! Way to drive the living hell out of it!!!
