Hello. I am a bit new to the world of Hobie cats, and I am in need of replacing the nylon rudder pins. I have read that the nylon pins are sacrificial pins to be used in the surf, but I will be sailing in Lake Erie (minimal swells). What is my best bet betwixt nylon and stainless? Thanks...

Aluminum is the OEM material.

Get 3/8" round stock and cut your own. Way cheaper than buying the pre-cut / drilled pins from a dealer.
