Posts: 4,451 West coast of Norway | Install a grommet in the tramp, thread a line from the hulls under the tramp and up the grommet in a loop. Attach this loop to a mast rotation control arm, mounted on the mast.. This is the most used setup on the Tornados these days, simple and effective. Does not clutter your tramp.. If you want overrotation of the mast, it gets messy | | | Re: Mast Rotation Control on Boomless H17

Posts: 3,906 Clermont, FL, USA | I'd take a look at the N5.5. and N6.0 setups. But, it is a little messy.
Maybe Bill R. could provide some suggestions.

Posts: 12,310 South Carolina | Brian,
The H17 guys down here are using a very simple system of a long bunji that is tied from each of the forestay / deck attachment points to the rotator bar by way of a carabiner. This forces positive rotation on the mast. During a tack/gybe, the mast is pushed through center by the sails and and the new windward bunji, while still attached, is at less of an angle with less mechanical advantage since the rotator bar is sticking way out to leeward. I'm not sure I described that well.
