Hello! Great website. i am new to cat sailing. I was given a So Cat 18. its in great shape. To date all i have sailed is sunfish. I am planning on going out for the first time on my cat this summer. Any advice? is this a good cat? any info would be great. THANKS!
Only advice is to understand a few basic 'emergency' maneuvers on a catamaran. Foremost is the righting proceedure if you find yourself capsized. It's easy but there is a trick to it. Search the forum - there's plenty of advice on this subject.
