I wonder how many 14s are out there that are aware of the F-14 effort, and how to get to those that aren't? Bob Curry's off the 14 for a bit - I know Terry Richardson's still around. I saw Chris Merrel and Dan Berger at Spring Fever on H14Max boats. Brian, how's the home-build coming? Who else in the southeast with a 14 is on-line here? I want to get a mail list together so we can get together on the next event. Juana's Good Time Regatta, September 11-12 in Navarre, FL. Always a great event, very laid back with $1 Corona, good music, and decent sea breeze. There's always a big fleet of a wide variety of boats. I always get a chuckle because they letter the individual fleets. Is it a coincidence that the Hobie 16s are in "Fleet X?"

Anyone know of other 14 sailors we could pull into the movement? Any ideas on other outlets beside Catsailor to reach them? Let's keep it going...

The red-head is Juana, that's her husband Steve, and their bar manager Deb.

You can count me in for racing. Unfortunately, that weekend is already commited for a Lightning District regatta in Augusta.

Still designing, I'm afraid to say. Here's a profile view of the "Freestyle 14". I wrote more about it in my "...design the next F14" thread.

I still have my two Maxi 14s and I am trying to make as many regattas as I can with them. Unfortunately, my work load is increasing and I can only make a few local events.

In Va Beach, We have events on Aug7/8, sept4-6, and Sept25th. All are distance races and should be pretty fun. I'm also planning on bringing the 14(s) to Camp Hatteras and the Roanoke Steeple Chase.
