The Jan de Boer Catamarans has the same size main as the Performance site.
They list the main as 18sq m / 193 sq ft
Two jibs 44.7 sq ft and 52.2 sq ft.

Performance should get serious about accurate specs on it's site....Or are both the Euro and US mains the same.

This sail area difference certainly has been the crux of the difficulty in getting this Class started .
My understanding is that the U S is without the mast .
-This controversey may turn out to be a blessing in disquise and allow us the opportunity to form a more open inclusive flexible set of class rules.

The Performance site says 18sq WITH mast. Has anybody ever measured an I20 main?

I know at the Curacao regatta last year the US I20 sail was matched to the Dutch I20 and found it larger. The Americans were upset because it then got a 'faster' texel rating, which in these conditions (25knots+) was definately not true. WF can definately comment on this. Matt Mayfield
