I agree which is why I finally said to heck with it after finishing my Coke (not the sniffing kind) on the beach and headed back. If the traffic had not been as heavy I would have gone for it.

Bottom Line, it is all about being responsible. Responsible for the safe operation of your craft, whether or not you have "legal" right of way. Responsible enough to recognize how you should handle your craft because of the surrounding conditions. Responsible enough to know that safety always comes before pride. Responsible enough to know that your actions will affect other boaters, their families and ultimatly you and your family when an accident occurs.
The helm, no matter what boat, is where the fun, or the danger resides. Take the helm, take the responsibility.
