I also noticed in a few shots that the local kiteboarders were kind enough to go right through the race course. I had one tangle up my H17 once. Not fun.

I think it's about $400 to have the hulls colored...looks great but I understand the colors (some better than others) do not weather very well and get chalky looking rather quickly...you probably just can't see the chalkiness on a white hull as easily.

I don't agree with Jake. My yellow I-17R looked great and remained looking great. Prior to selling the boat, a little effort with a polish and it looked just like the day I unpacked it from the boxes 4 years earlier. It may fade more if left on a beach in Florida year round, but with a little care and effort, I thought the color was worth the extra cost. BTW, white boats also get chalked up if they are not cared for. I don't think color has anything to do with it. Just my 2 cents worth...
