Any tips on what to use to repait the comptip on my TheMightyHobie18? The fiber is showing through all along the front edge. I thought I read somewhere that it has to be something that is non-conductive. Is there something special for this??

Thanks

The CompTip outer material is basically, Gel Coat. You should be able to use a rubbing compound or polishing compound to return some amount of black shine. Depends on how deeply oxidized it has become. Worst case the gel has worn thin and is showing fiber. That would require a paint. Epoxy or Vinyl paint.

For a really good epoxy paint in a spray can go to your local motorcycle shop and look for a brand called PJ1. They make the black in gloss, satin and flat. To hide the fiber you might let the paint set and then wet sand the fiber areas and recoat. Make sure you follow the directions for weather conditions. The paint does take a while to fully cure.
