Hey guys, finally finished fixing the hull on my prindle 19 and came home from college to sail it. One thing led to another, and i snapped a shroud, who knew an aluminum mast could be so heavy. Im about to order another one off this site, 50 bucks, anything thing I should know before I do this? Is what i'm going to order off the site just include the wire or more. Im heading home Dec. 8 for winter break and im determined to sail this thing.

thanks,
Pete

Get both shrouds, forstay, forstay bridles and pigtail. If one goes, they are all ready to go. I had a huge tang shackle break at top of my mast about a month ago. I have never seen a shackle break before especially that big. What a pain.

well, the reason why it broke it because my buddy was holding up the mast and couldn't hold it any more and it landed on that shroud. The shroud im looking at is this one: Marine Store which im pretty sure is what I need. Any tips on getting the tension right? I was just going to match it up to the one that broke as close as possible.
thanks,
Pete
