Posts: 591 Bradenton, FL | I wear contacts while sailing also. I just take them out and wash them when I get home and put them back in the next day.

Posts: 915 Dublin, Ireland | I normally wear monthly lenses, but I buy one lot of disposables for the sailing season. They last the weekend and then I throw them. If it's a bit blowy I sometimes find one on my cheek or almost out of my eye, I pop it in my mouth until the race is over and then put it in again There was more spray on the Dart 18 than the Spitfire - I have not lost one for a while. On one of my Irish Sea crossings on a Dart 18 ( trying to set a record - DunLaoghaire to Holyhead) I could not figure out why I could not read the GPS - both lenses had washed out - I should have worn goggles.
