Looking to buy a new full harness. Currently have the Magic Marine Aquata Pro--very comfortable but all the extra padding adds 5-10 lbs when wet...anyone had any experience with the Magic Marine Pro Equipe or the pro mesh?

Hi Don, I have the Pro Equippe model that I just got this year. It has remarkable back support but the crotchless design tends to get into the groin area pretty easily after awhile and can make life uncomfortable, especially if you try to pull your swim trunks back down and then go back out on the trapeze. Suddenly there is no room for your personal equipment to hang out and a quick dive back onto the boat becomes a priority to rearrange things. That's not the usual guy bs - I would feel sorry for anyone with a "taller rig" experiencing this! My other harness is a DaKine with a neoprene bottom that really spreads the load bearing surface out but it is getting old and weak and apparently itis no longer made. I guess I will just have to learn how to use this one better but it is almost worth it to be able to stretch back and feel the back support kick in like no other harness I have tried. Let us know if you find one you really like!
