I am wondering when you compare the Nacra F18 and Tiger how are they alike amd different. Has anyone sailed the N F18 or the Tiger? Looks to me that the N F18 is a really nice go fast boat with a good price, about $3000 less than the Tiger.

I think you have your prices and boats screwed up. The NF-18 is about the same price as the Tiger.

Barry,
From what I have been told the nacra is 12,000 with the snuffer and everything, less without. A new tiger is $12,250. So the tiger is a bit more but it does not have a snuffer, not $3,000 though. You can get a nacra f-18 for somwhere in the lower to middle $11,000 range.

The NACRA F18 "looks" great. I haven't sailed it yet but if you live in Europe there is one at the Paris boat show.
$12,500-13,000 with a snuffer and kite is a realistic number as a retail price. There isn't any room to discount these things so figure that is the final price. I think you will find the hobie cat product in the same general cost ballpark.

Anyone had a chance to see a Nacra F18 race against a Tiger? Probably too early but it was seem they would boat perform about the same, or maybe not!
