Rick,
I will be in the Keys on Friday Morning for the tradewinds.

thanks

Gilberts (I belive they charge if you aren't staying there)
Rowell's marina (I'm thinking in the neighborhood of $7 per day to launch/setup/store?)

Those two are the closest. I'm headed to Rowells with Slaughter. The launch ramp (concrete) drops off a bit deep at high tide, but there's plenty of room in the grass to rig. Locked gates, too. It's about 10 minutes by sail (10kts) to Gilberts, so it should be close to the racing action.

Since they took the metal building down at Gilberts, there appeared to be a lot of room to rig there, too. Not sure about trailer storage, but I'm sure there's plenty of that, too. Sandy launch area in Jewfish channel. I believe they are sponsoring the event, so I would presume the course will be a few minutes south of the hotel on one side of the channel or the other.

Forecast is looking a bit breezy (15+ switching to NW), so don't skimp on the extra fixin's on your burger at Hobo's!

See ya there
